Update on A6 closure

Our contractors are nearing the completion of emergency work to remove more than 100 trees alongside the A6 between Cromford and Matlock Bath.

They continue to work around the clock to get this vital safety work done and the road reopened as soon as possible. We are anticipating the road will reopen this afternoon after it's cleared of machinery and remaining logs and cleaned of any oils and sap.
