Update on the 2023/2024 pay award

The 2023/2024 national pay agreement for Local Government Service employees has now been agreed.

Here's an outline of how the pay offer will increase Derbyshire pay scales:

colleagues on grades 1 to 13: an increase of £1,925 (pro rata for part-time employees)
colleagues on grades 14 to 16: an increase of 3.88%
in addition, an increase of 3.88% on all flat-rate allowances, which would include payments such as standby, sleep-in and first aid

The additional salary payment will be backdated to 1 April 2023 and you'll receive it in your November 2023 pay.
