Update on the 2024 to 2025 pay award

The 2024 to 2025 national pay agreement for Local Government Service employees has now been agreed.

Pay offer

Here is an outline of how the pay offer will increase Derbyshire pay scales:

• colleagues on grades 1 to 13: an increase of £1,290pa (pro rata for part-time employees)
• colleagues on grades 14 to 16: an increase of 2.5%
• in addition, an increase of 2.5% on all flat-rate allowances, which would include payments such as standby, sleep-in and first aid

The additional salary payment will be backdated to 1 April 2024 and you will receive any back pay you are due in the November 2024 payroll.
