Wellbeing support for colleagues with hidden conditions or disabilities

Living with a hidden condition or neurodiversity such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, reduced sight or hearing, bipolar disorder, chronic pain, fatigue syndrome, colitis, depression and many others can make everyday life demanding and effect your mental wellbeing.


Joined up Care Derbyshire offers the following support sessions for all our employees which can help to keep you well, safe and healthy at work:

Neurodiverse café

"No two brains are the same". A friendly and safe space for our colleagues who identify themselves as neurodivergent where they can connect, chat, share advice and support each other. Also, for everyone that is keen to learn and support those with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, Autism or Tourette syndrome.

Book a session at the Neurodiverse café - held monthly on a Monday at 2pm.

Working with a health condition support café

Living with a chronic condition, hidden illness or disability can hinder and compromise your ability to work. This group offers a safe space to build strong connections with peers who are going through similar experiences and want to find out about the available support to stay healthy and well at work.

Supporting your team with a health condition or disability

A group for managers and leaders to learn and share ideas on supporting and enabling a member/s of staff with a long-term health condition or disability. An inclusive, safe, and supportive workplace has a positive effect on an individual's

health and wellbeing and can benefit the entire workforce.
