You’ll now find the Copilot Chat icon right on the toolbar in your M365 apps. Ask questions, get help drafting content, analyse data, and generate ideas, all without switching apps or copying files around. Find out where to find it.
Improvements in the M365 Copilot desktop app
You can now upload multiple images at once, making it quicker and easier to get the results you need in one go.
The input area also auto‑expands, giving you more space to write, review, and refine longer prompts – no more typing through a tiny window!

Everyone will be moving to the latest GPT‑5 model over the coming months, bringing faster, more accurate responses across Copilot.
