Celebrated annually on 22 June, this year marks 75th anniversary of the Windrush and offers an opportunity to come together to deepen our understanding and celebrate this shared history.
Join us on Wednesday, 21 June from 1pm to 2pm to learn more about Windrush and celebrate the Windrush Generation’s many contributions to local and British society, culture and economy.
We will be joined by Kenton Black from Derby West Indian Community Association and Ludwig Ramsey from Chesterfield African Caribbean Community Association, who will share a local perspective including their community projects and initiatives.
The session is open to all employees, managers, elected members and community representatives.
