Derbyshire highways briefing sessions

Information about our briefing sessions. 


We're holding our next series of briefing sessions starting from Monday, 17 April to share the latest news, updates and next steps about our transformation programme.

The face-to-face briefing will be hosted by Julian Gould, highways director.

Briefings at highway depots

Sessions are open to all colleagues who would like to attend – please choose a location convenient to your working pattern and work base.

  • Monday 17April at 8am - Stonegravels depot, mess room - for office and construction employees, inspectors and street lighting.
  • Tuesday 18 April at 8am - Ambergate depot, training centre - for office and construction employees and highway inspectors.
  • Tuesday 18 April at 9.30am - Ambergate depot, training centre – for laboratory staff only.
  • Wednesday 19 April at 8am - Willington depot, mess room - for office, construction employees and highway inspectors.
  • Thursday 20 April at 8am - Darley Dale depot, mess room – for office, Public Rights of Way, construction employees and highway inspectors.
  • Thursday 20 April at 2pm - Darley Dale depot, design office – for office, Public Rights of Way, construction employees and highway inspectors.
  • Friday 21 April at 8am - Chapel depot - for office, construction employees and highway inspectors.

Face-to-face briefing

  • Friday 24 April at 10am - face-to-face briefing session in Committee Room 1 at County Hall for staff based in and around Matlock.
