Our Vision for Derbyshire Highways is to deliver a safe, effective, efficient and innovative Highways Service, which supports our goals and takes opportunities to improve and enhance service delivery for the residents, businesses and communities of Derbyshire.
To deliver this vision, we need a structure that enables us to work smarter, respond faster, and ensure our service is ready for the future.
Why change, and why now?
Our current ways of working have served us well, but as we look to the future, we know we need to continue to adapt to remain responsive and resilient. The significant increase in funding to improve our road network brings both opportunity and a responsibility to build on what we’ve achieved, enhance how we work and deliver even more for Derbyshire. Our new organisational structure will support better delivery, clearer accountability, and stronger collaboration across our teams.
