Give as you earn

As a Derbyshire County Council employee, you can support a charity of your choice tax free with payments going direct from your salary.

You can support big well known charities, local scout group, local church or any charity or organisation with a charitable purpose. And you can give as much or as little as you like and change who you give to whenever you like.

With Give As You Earn you give directly from your pre-tax pay, so money that you would normally pay in tax goes to your chosen charity. If you're a basic rate tax payer a gift of £10 a month only costs you £8, but your charity gets the full £10.
