Building condition surveys

A condition survey is a visual assessment of the condition of all the exposed and accessible parts of a building including the mechanical and electrical elements, and all associated external works, to identify any significant defects and items of repair.

Each defect recorded is allocated a condition priority, together with brief details of necessary remedial action, and budget costs. The survey will provide a full and accurate picture of programmed and backlog maintenance requirements over a 5-year period.
