Our values
Our values describe who we are and what we stand for as a council. They help shape our culture and encourage consistent behaviours. They are:

- accountable – we hold ourselves and others to account
Our behaviours
Our behaviour framework sets out what we expect in terms of how we go about our work, while our goals describe what we do.
Our 8 behaviours are:

- Collaborate and partner.
- Change and improve.
- Make effective decisions.
- Develop ourselves.
- Develop our teams.
- See the bigger picture.
- Customer and outcome focused.
We have 2 frameworks to support grade 14+ senior leaders and grade 13 and below leaders.
Each behaviour has guidance indicators for 'below', 'meets' and 'exceeds' expectations, to support performance management and development conversations.
A behaviour framework for all employees is currently being developed.
