Value for Money Board

Meeting quarterly, the board includes representatives from East Midlands Chamber and the Federation of Small Business, and our Deputy Council Leader, Councillor Simon Spencer. The board is chaired by Paul Stone, our interim director of finance and ICT.

The board will ensure that good corporate governance is developed and applied to all contracts, especially those linked to delivering council priorities.

It will establish clear ownership, roles and responsibilities for all contracts and take the lead in stressing the importance of contract management in achieving our objectives.
