Fire alarm pagers

Fire alarm pagers are available for staff and visitors who would find it difficult to hear a fire alarm sound.

The system have been installed at County Hall, John Hadfield House, Clay Cross Social Services area office and will shortly be installed at the Chatsworth site.

The system works by alerting staff to a fire alarm via a pager that is worn close to the body.

In the event of a fire alarm, the pager will vibrate, flash and sound a loud warning signal. A message will also be displayed, telling the wearer which building is to be evacuated.

Staff based at a building covered by the system can request a pager for their long term use and visitors can borrow one for the duration of their visit.

For more information ask at the main reception desk at the buildings where the system is installed.

User guides for the pagers are attached to this page.
