There are 6 sessions each week, covering different areas and abilities. They are all free to attend via Microsoft Teams. You can book onto the live session or watch the recording at a later date.
Before you can take part, you'll have to complete a screening form. Once you have been registered you will be sent a Teams invite for the session. Invites will be sent on a weekly basis either the evening before or on the morning of the session.
If you have previously completed the screening form and there has been no change to your health, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know the class you’d like to join.
If you have previously completed the screening form and now have a medical condition, you’re taking medication, or you have related concerns, please complete the screening form again and we will contact you if need be.
All our sessions are with fully qualified, experienced instructors.
Mondays, 1pm to 1:30pm: Legs, bums and tums
This workout will help you to tone up and strengthen your thighs, glutes (bum), and stomach. Legs, bums, and tums is for anyone wanting to lose weight, tone up, and improve their fitness levels.
Tuesdays, 1pm to 1:30pm: Circuits
A mixture of cardio and strength exercises to work your entire body, improve your fitness, burn calories, and leave you feeling great!
There's something for everyone with low, medium, and high-intensity options provided during the class.
Wednesdays, 12:15pm to 12:45pm: Midweek refresh
Use your lunch break and get moving. Have a break from sitting on your chair and looking at your screen with 30 minutes of exercise to mobilise and stretch your body and reinvigorate your mind.
Progressions and adaptations are provided for all exercises.
Wednesdays, 5pm to 5:30pm: Pilates
This class involves a series of exercises performed on the floor using gravity and your own body weight to provide resistance.
The main aim is to tone and increase muscle strength, particularly the abdominal muscles, lower back, hips, and glutes – the 'core muscles' of your body.
Thursdays, 12:30pm to 1pm: Yoga
This flow yoga class is aimed at stretching and strengthening the body and getting the joints in motion. The instructor will give cues to help you to get the most out of your practice and provide options for you.
We usually give space for you to check in on your body and focus on your breath at the start and end of a session.
Our sessions are suitable for all confidence levels.
Thursdays, 1pm to 1.30pm: Back care Pilates
This class involves a series of exercises performed on the floor using gravity and your own body weight to provide resistance. The main aim is to mobilise the hips and strengthen your glutes (bum), back, and core to prevent lower back problems.
Fridays, 8:30am to 9am: Core and more
Start your weekend by getting a full body workout with core and more. This class works all the major muscle groups in the body to improve strength, balance, and co-ordination.
Cardio and floor work may be included, therefore, you'll need a mat. Small hand weights are optional.
These sessions cater for all abilities, so please give it a try. If you want to work really hard or take it easy, the instructors will adapt the session accordingly.
