Design and delivery

We support all aspects of learning, including on-the-job, learning from others and formal learning to ensure learning is meaningful and results in practice improvement, effectiveness in role and high performance.

For our employees

You can access the learning from any computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, either at home or at work, when and where you need it, at a time to suit you and your role.

If you're using our computer equipment, Microsoft Edge should be used. If you use any other web browser to access the site, you must enable pop-ups in the web browser settings for e-Learning content to open.

Log on to Derbyshire Learning Online and follow the on-screen instructions to log on to the site.

If you've previously created an account, but forgotten your password, you can use the 'lost password' link to reset your password.

New employees

If you're a Derbyshire County Council employee with a SAP payroll number you will automatically have an account within 2 working days of your start date. If you don't have access after this time, contact us on email: derbyshire.learningonline@derbyshire.gov.uk

An automated password will be generated and emailed to you. You'll need to change your password - simply follow the instructions you're given to do this.

For external users, students and agency staff

If you don't have a Derbyshire County Council SAP payroll number you'll need a registration key to create a new account. To ask for one complete the external account request form.

Further help

Once you have an account with Derbyshire Learning Online, you'll be able to access guides and videos on topics such as your learning record, cancelling bookings and checking the progress of your e-learning.
