The programme has been designed specifically for us and is being delivered by t-three, who are an award-winning organisation specialising in leadership development.

Who Inspiring Leaders is for
Inspiring Leaders is being delivered to all leaders here at Derbyshire County Council over a 3-year period. This includes all those with line management responsibility.
This programme runs over a 5-month period for participants, and there will be 4 to 5 weeks in between each module or activity giving participants time to apply their learning in-between.
Programme overview
There are 6 elements to the programme which begins with a 1 hour (virtual) launch and is followed by ‘Personal Insights’ where each participant will complete a Facet 5 report (a psychometric tool) designed to help understand and improve awareness.
There's also a 'Truth Teller' report (a 360-degree tool) to enable leaders to gain feedback on their strengths and areas for development.
You may receive requests to complete a truth teller report for your colleagues and we encourage you to take part.
There are 3 virtually facilitated modules referred to as ‘sprints’ and bring to life key skills, models and techniques to use back in the workplace which focus on:
- sprint 1: leading self
- sprint 2: leading others, and
- sprint 3: leading the organisation
The final element is an opportunity for leaders to reflect and with a forward focus - leaders will plan next steps.
Feedback
A pilot group of 12 leaders started the programme in February 2023 and completed the programme in July 2023.
The pilot group provided feedback throughout to ensure the content was adapted to be as effective as possible for all of our leaders.
Our Executive Group then led the way, starting the programme together in April 2023 and completing it in September 2023.
