Post room and distribution
In the post room, we have advanced mail equipment for enveloping and posting large volume mailings. The post team oversee many aspects of the business centre, such as:
- arranging postal delivery of letters and parcels
- managing distributions to both internal and external establishments
- envelope stock management and ordering
- 7 internal vans which cover the entire county, collecting and delivering post, parcels, furniture and more, between DCC buildings and schools
- sorting of incoming post into pigeonholes for internal teams
- pack and distribute a range of letters and mailings, including monthly payslips
Scanning
The business centre scanning team, have dedicated equipment for all your scanning needs. Some of the services provided are:
- incoming mail scanning
- structural files made digital through Kofax
- microfiche scanning
- questionnaire scanning for consultations
- document digitalisation
Digital print
The digital print and design team can offer expert advice on quality, cost effective materials and media. Our printing is produced through the use of the latest digital high volume production equipment.

- printing letters on your behalf
- design and print flyers, posters, leaflets, brochures, newsletters, business cards, certificates, and more

Any documents that we cannot do in-house, we can arrange quotes from a framework of approved suppliers, we manage the process from start to finish.

Designs are created using the Adobe Creative Suite and will be completely tailored to your needs whilst using our brand guidelines. They can create:

- banners
- business cards
- booklets
ID badges
For security purposes, all our employees need an identification badge. The business centre, has a specialist printer to create our ID badges using a completed form and photo sent in by employees. With this printer, we can design and make various security identification badges and passes.

Sending letters through ad hoc mail
Ad hoc mail allows you to send letters to print and post, either by uploading a PDF document, or sending Word documents using a printer driver.
Letters can be sent from your PC or laptop when working in the office, at home, or any remote location.
