Electric vehicle charging points

We have 5 dual 7 kilowatt vehicle charging points in our County Hall employee car park, and plan to install more at other sites. Both employees and visitors can use these.

You'll need to register with BP Chargemaster and get one of their cards. Cards compatible with the units are Chargemaster Polar, D2N2 and Charge Your Car.

To book one of the charging points and reserve a morning or afternoon slot, contact the commissionaires at County Hall, tel: 01629 536673.

As a guide, every hour of charging adds around 30 miles range (based on our own Nissan Leafs with a 62 kilowatt battery). This could differ for other vehicles subject to their own battery capacity and range.
