Expanding our EV charging network

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are working hard to develop a reliable EV charging network to support our fleet vehicles and promote cleaner transport. 

In addition to the dual 7kW charging points at County Hall, we have installed EV chargers at several key locations across the county, including:

• Clay Cross, Mercian Close,
• Kents Bank
• Bennerley HOP  
• Depots at Ambergate, Brimington Road, and Darley Dale

These charging points play a vital role in supporting our transition to low-emission vehicles, reducing our carbon footprint, and ensuring a more sustainable transport network for the future.

To ensure our fleet is fully charged, these charging points are not currently available to visitors and staff. We plan to install more points at County Hall and at other sites for public use.
