We're a huge and diverse organisation that works with and for a wide range of partners and audiences. By presenting the council professionally at all times our identity will ensure we are recognised as a professional, reliable and forward-thinking local authority.
Having a clear style will make producing pieces of print easier and cheaper and all colleagues are expected to use the guidelines.
A package of material for design agencies is available, which includes InDesign templates and fonts. Please email design@derbyshire.gov.uk for more information.
Our logo
All printed materials, publications and signage we produce should include our logo.
The logo, in black and purple, can be downloaded from this page.
Other file formats are available, email design@derbyshire.gov.uk
Our corporate identity helps us to communicate our aim of providing accountable, efficient and customer-focused services to the people of Derbyshire.
It's important that our logo isn't:
- stretched or condensed
- altered or amended in any way
- illegible – for example due to low resolution or poor background contrast
- smaller than 30mm wide
Brands and logos for council teams, services or projects
The Derbyshire County Council logo is well recognised and trusted, and normally should be the only logo or brand used when promoting council teams, services and projects.
There may be some occasions when a logo or brand name is needed for a specific council service, but this needs to be pre-approved by the communications team in advance of any work being carried out.
