Did you know that we pay some 35,000 employees and 25,000 pensioners?


Our aim is to make prompt and accurate payment, keep our standards high and provide a quality service.

If you have a query on your pay or pension payment, the first thing is to decide who to contact. It may not be the Human Resources Services, for although we work closely with employing departments and the Inland Revenue, you may find that your query needs to be raised directly with them.

To comply with the Data Protection Act, we may not always be able to give details over the telephone and you may be asked to apply in writing.

To help us deal promptly with your query, you should always quote your payroll reference number which can be found under your name on your pay slip.
