As an employee of the council, there is a host of wellbeing support available to you. Our complete wellbeing offer includes services from both internal, and external providers.


Internal support

We offer a range of internal support and wellbeing services for all our staff, including:

Available support includes help with:

External support

External services available include:

  • physiotherapy services - employees can request up to 6 sessions of physiotherapy following an injury or health condition
  • reflective practice - where employees can talk about challenging topics you may have faced
  • TRiM (Trauma risk management) - support after experiencing or being exposed to potentially traumatic events
  • one-to-one improvement conversation - a conversation aimed at supporting employee's physical and mental health
  • Joined Up Care Derbyshire activity timetable - a combination of virtual and in-person wellbeing activities
  • health improvement advisors - offering a range of services to support employee's physical and mental health
  • StRaW (Sustaining resilience at work) one-to-one conversation - supporting employee's mental health
  • REACT (Recognise, engage, actively listen, check risk, and talk) mental health training
